Green Equipment Rentals Disposable Bin Rental Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions by which Green Equipment Rentals provides services to the Customer. By using our disposable bin rental services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. The disposable bin rental by the Customer is conditional upon the agreement to the following Terms & Conditions by the Customer.
Green Equipment Rentals and the Customer agree that the disposable bin shall be in good condition and suitable for the purpose of collecting waste, when delivered on the job site. Any deficiencies noted by the Customer should be immediately reported to Green Equipment Rentals and Green Equipment Rentals shall rectify such deficiencies promptly.
The disposable bin is delivered as described above and any other representations, agreements, and warranties, whether expressed or implied, from Green Equipment Rentals not set out herein are excluded. Green Equipment Rentals is not responsible for any losses incurred by the Customer in case of late delivery or failure to resolve any deficiencies, unless Green Equipment Rentals fail to act reasonably timely.
1. Rental Period
1.1 The rental period for all disposable bin rental services is 7 days from the day of the delivery.
1.2 Unless the rental period is re-negotiated by the Customer when placing the order, after the 7-day rental period, an additional daily charge will incur the Customer until the day of the pickup.
2. Delivery and Pickup
2.1 The delivery time is not guaranteed. The deliveries are scheduled based on availability. Green Equipment Rentals is not liable for any losses incurred in case of late delivery.
2.2 The Customer shall notify Green Equipment Rentals via email or phone call at least 24 hours prior to schedule a bin pickup. The Customer is responsible for scheduling pickup.
2.3 The Customer shall ensure that the site for bin drop-off and pickup is accessible. Any delays exceeding 60 minutes due to the inaccessibility of the drop-off and pickup site will result in an extra hourly charge of $100 + HST.
2.4 In case of unforeseeable conditions, such as extreme weather, Green Equipment Rentals and the Customer shall reschedule the delivery or pickup, with neither party being liable.
3. Bin Rental
3.1 The Customer is responsible to ensure the wight of the load does not exceed the maximum capacity of 4.5 tonnes for all disposal bins.
3.2 The Customer is responsible to ensure the size of the load disposed does not exceed the height marked with the “maximum load” line inside of each bin. The Customer can order another bin from Green Equipment Rentals to dispose the excess waste. The Green Equipment Rentals reserves the right to unload any excess material over the marked maximum height line at the job site, and the Customer is responsible for cleanup and dispose of the excess waste.
3.3 The clean-fill waste (concrete and interlock/asphalt/brick and block) can ONLY be disposed to the 6-yard disposable bins. Failure to compliance will result in unloading the waste at the site and the Customer is liable for any damages to the bin. The clean-fill waste is not to be mixed with other contents or other type of wastes. An extra charge of $150 + HST will be applied to the final invoice if the clean-fill waste is mixed with other contents.
3.4 The weight of the load measured at dump site is listed on the final invoice. In case the weight of the load exceeds the weight included in the flat rate stated on the quote, an extra per tonne charge will be applied. Additionally, if the weight of the load exceeds the maximum weight capacity of 4.5 tonnes, extra overweight charge will be applied to the final invoice and the Customer is liable for any damages caused by the overweight load disposed in the bin.
3.5 The Customer is responsible for material disposed in the bin. The following items are prohibited from disposal in the bin: hazardous waste, batteries, tires, asbestos, rubbers, flammable liquids, and any other material that pose risks to human health and safety and environment as outlined in City of Toronto’s Regulations & Prohibited Waste. Green Equipment Rentals reserve the right to unload such hazardous and/or prohibited material on the job site. Additionally, any items rejected for disposal in dump sites will be returned to the job site, and the Customer will incur an additional delivery charge.
3.6 The Green Equipment Rentals does not place the disposable bin such that it occupies the sidewalk, and street imposing danger to the public traffic. If the Customer wishes to place the disposable bin on the roadside, the Customer is responsible to acquire a Street Occupation Permit from the corresponding municipality (for City of Toronto: https://www.toronto.ca/services-payments/building-construction/infrastructure-city-construction/construction-standards-permits/construction-permits/street-occupation-permit/). Once the permit is issued, the Customer must first provide the permit to the Green Equipment Rentals via email (info@greenrentals.ca), and only then a delivery can be scheduled. The Customer is responsible for any charges or fines related to the bin during the rental period.
3.7 The Customer is solely responsible for the condition of the bin during the rental period. Any damages or loss, or any charges to the disposable bin during the rental period will be charged to the final invoice of the Customer. This charge will be based on the cost listed in the invoice related to the bin repair, restoration, and replacement.
3.8 The Green Equipment Rentals is not responsible for any potential damages or loss to the property of the Customer during the drop-off and pickup from the driveway, lawn, or any other specific location that the Customer requested the bin to be placed.
4. Payments
4.1 The final invoice will be issued to the main registrant of the account. The Customer is responsible for the validity of the information provided on their account.
4.2 All Green Equipment Rentals disposable bins require a deposit depending on the size of the disposable bin, job site location, and the material disposed.
4.3 The Customer agrees that any extra charges or fines to be charged without prior notification on the deposit or the credit card or the pre-authorized debit card provided by the customer when placing the order with Green Equipment Rentals.
4.4 The Customer agrees to provide a cancellation notice at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery time. Otherwise, a $200 + HST cancellation fee will be charged to the Customer.
